Sexual health

Sexual health services

Our sexual health clinics provide fast-track short consults for sexual health checks, emergency contraception, and repeats of simple contraception. This way we will be able to maximise availability and make sure no one with STI concerns is turned away because we have reached capacity for the day.

We will also be offering booked long consults (30 minutes each) for more complex sexual health needs (cervical smears, complex contraception including Long Acting Reversible Contraception (LARCS), STI vaccinations, Transgender Medicine, HIV PrEP, or for complex STIs). The SH nurse will book you into the clinic that is best suited for your needs.

We are therefore asking clients to phone in advance and book a clinic session. Your phone call will be answered by a Sexual Health Nurse who will be able to discuss your needs and book you in to be seen as required. We are still offering a limited Walk in Clinic Service to all our Clinics but it is best to call in advance.
